What is a principle?
One of the major tasks for the school board is to discuss and decide on key principles for the school which highlight the attitudes and values that are important, and unique, to our school community.
"Principles are a collection of basic ideas that contain the envisioned direction of the school." (Source: Ministry of Education).

What Is a School Development Dialogue?
A school development dialogue is an annual meeting between the school and Lolland Municipality where we look ahead and discuss how to further strengthen teaching, the learning environment, and student well-being. The purpose is to build a shared understanding of the school’s opportunities, challenges, and development goals — and to ensure that the initiatives we implement make a real difference in students’ learning and everyday school life.
The dialogue is based on the school’s own development work and the goals we set for the coming year. Rather than focusing only on reporting, the conversation centres on concrete solutions, examples from practice, and new approaches that can enhance the quality of teaching. Students, parents, and staff are represented so that multiple perspectives are heard, creating a shared direction for the school’s continued development.
Across the municipality, three areas are in special focus: quality in teaching, special education support, and internationalisation. The school development dialogue contributes to this work by fostering reflection, shared understanding, and clear initiatives that guide the school’s development in the year ahead.
It is a law that renders it possible to establish international primary and lower secondary school offers under municipal auspices, as an independent offer outside the framework of the Folkeskole Act.
