# Host family wanted

Would you like to bring a piece of the world into your home?

🌍 Do you live in Maribo, Nakskov, Nykøbing F – or another town in the local area?🌍

Would you like to bring a piece of the world into your home?
Every year, we welcome international volunteers who come to Denmark to learn about Danish culture, language, and everyday life while helping at our school. They assist with activities such as supporting students and helping in the daily life of the school.

But for this to work, we need host families.

As a host family, you open your home to a young person (18-22) from another country. In return, you gain a unique cultural exchange, new perspectives, and often friendships that last long after the volunteer returns home.

🏡 Who can be a host family?
Almost anyone. Families big or small, with or without children, living in a house or apartment, local or foreign, in town or in the countryside. The most important thing is that you are willing to welcome a young person into your home and share everyday Danish life.

✅ Host families receive support through the organisation ICYE, including guidance and a small financial contribution.
